Everything points to it being real.. It was originally painted red and black

Will, that does kind of look like bronze or something, but the badges on all my Peerless fans are stamped brass, not cast anything. I've got a BB 1 - 8 and a range of other numbers and letters, but nothing cast, all are stamped, and yours looks like a regular stamped brass badge and original. Nice red and black painted badges mostly. Jim

Will , can you show the back side ? the edges of the badge look to be one of the castings that Stan good had made some 25 years ago. The back side will identify if that's so.

Got one just like it , bought it from Stan Good 25+ years ago. Never have used it but might get around to a fan that needs it someday. Tempus Fugit
