I sent a pedestal fan GE to a friend. I packed it well but somehow USPS broke off the cast iron arm. The rest of the fan is fine. My friend wants me to see if I can source a new base. If anyone has one to sell let me know. I am working it out with them but so far that seems to be the solution. If you have one you can part with my email is dogon2u@gmail.com Attached Image (viewed 186 times):

Could it be repaired/welded, then refinished?

Yes and he is looking into that. But I thought I would put out some feelers and it may be a hard lift to find one. So welding may be the option.
