Hey Daniel...do you still have the original parts for the switch...the metal? I could just CAD the ceramic in Nylon plastic. Cost should be less than 50 shipped. I have a broken switch as well and don't mind offering my services.

The switch bodies are just the beginning. You'll need to machine the stem and bushing, have the pointers, contacts, banjos, and sweeper arms waterjetted. Then the springs need to be made, along with machining the pointer holder. You'll need a source for the knobs, of which there are two styles. Then comes assembly. You have to bend each contact three ways and tap it. You'll have to cut a bevel in the banjo. You have to bend, cut, and bevel the sweeper. You'll have to pin the stem, put the sweeper arm on, fit the spring to it and pin it in place. Install all screws and backing washers, pin the pointer holder to the stem and attach the knob. At this point, the switch is ready to be tested to operate correctly. Remember that the sweeper arm has to raise up over each contact and snap back. There are two types of switch bodies, unless you're replicating '97 and '98 switches and staying true to the design. Then there a three. The BTH version of the pancakes uses a completely different switch style too. There are three different stems, for back switch 2 speed, back switch 5 speed, and base switch fans. I can throw in the 99-01 16" bracket fans and '00-01 16 " desk fans for a fourth style of stem. There are two styles of sweeper arms and two styles of springs. The switch bodies are great replacements for the components from a broken switch. Beyond that, if you're going to reproduce pancake switches, it seems like a duplication of efforts, since they are already available from Antique Fan Parts.com Attached Image (viewed 342 times):

Thanks Kim. In that case, I'll just sell the body and move onto another project.
