SOLD -- I am offering my Crocker-Wheeler DC fan for sale at my original cost -- $7,500. I bought this in 2010 from Alan Willms, who did the amazing restoration. He plated the blades, cage, attachment plug and other hardware in nickel. Over the past decade this nickel has toned beautifully and has taken on a very authentic-looking patina. (It could easily be polished back to bright nickel if you so desire -- I prefer this look.) It runs fantastically, with incredible power. This was made when the company was still in NYC, before moving to Ampere, NJ in 1893. So it's an early example.
