I have an Emerson motor in my Casablanca C.B. 10888 (ceiling fan) & I need help getting the motor apart & the bearings greased.

Could anyone tell me how to get the black top, which mounts to the fan body, separated from the motor? Also, same question for the switch/light housing on the bottom. I can't get either to move & I'm trying not to break it. Thanks,
