Look over in the background of Lot 439. Behind the Tesla and R&M is what looks like the cage for a Western Electric bipolar fan. It wouldn't surprise me if the Westy's blade was in the pile.

Yes, but you would have to be there and talk them into it. 

I have done such before at auctions, but I was a good customer.

It is nice, but 1600 plus fees complete is no bargain.
