Hi Tom! Ray and I arrived back in Chicago by 6:30 yesterday and then I made it home to Peoria from Mike Mirin's house by 10:30. We had a great trip back, no bad weather.You probably couldn't find a hotel there because das awkscht fescht was going on in the neighboring town of Macungie Pa which is a really large antique car show.
Oddly enough, we had to drive pretty far into Pennsylvania before we found hotels with vacancy. There was nothing within a 60-100 mile radius around Allentown. There must have been some kind of large tourist event
Thanks again for all of your hospitality and putting on such a great fan meet. I'm sure it's a lot of work and time. I really enjoyed seeing all of your fans. We get into the same kind of stuff. I still have that beautiful American Coolair fan in the trunk of my car. I'm giving my back a brief break before I bring it into the house. I may put an extra mesh guard around the back of the fan and attach it with small magnets to make it "cat proof."
