Notice the neck top left, with the steel rod in it. That is so the neck can be put in a 4 jaw chuck on the lathe, the rod will register to the live center, to turn the round part under the threaded tab that connects to the oscillator link. A lot of setups to make this seemingly simple part. John is enjoying this project, and is amazed that so many of us are interested in these old relics. If y'all have other parts that need replicating, let me know. We are going to do G.E. pancake wall-mount knuckles next, and then maybe pancake switches.
