|Nice paint on a Fidelity like this, oscillator or not, is like lipstick on a pig. They didn't bother to really grind off the casting flash and rough spots and the primitive looking design disguises the uniqueness of the mechanism and the fact that it really does work great and is interesting to watch as it oscillates slowly in one direction and at the speed of heat in the other. Plus it's relatively quiet and a great conversation starter. I refinished mine and added back some pinstripes just to help it draw more attention because even people who don't care about fans like to watch it work.
