I found a 2610 5 wing brass blade r&m oscillator in an antique store. They are asking $149 for it! I am sure I can get at least 10% off of that. It runs and oscillates fine. It is 1917-1918 because it has sc/BB The year before they were bb/bc. If any one wants a nice little fan I will pick it up for cost and shipping. These are nice little fans!  I'm a just payin it forward. I have 2 and don't need another!Geo...

I didn't take any pics. Needs new cords of course. But I put new cords on any fan I intend to run. Wish I had taken pics now. It's 30 miles away or I would go get pics. It is complete. On those pre 20 fans that's half the battle...Geo...
I might be able to get my wife to stop by after work and snap a few if you wish...

George,

If Rob doesn't take you up on your offer I will.  And a most generous offer it is!

Jim

Hey Rob if you want the fan you can look it up in the gallery. If you do not want it, I need to know. I as you can see have another buyer. I am making nothing on this. I will strong arm the seller and whatever I can get knocked off the price is what it will be... I am persuasive!   :)

Alright, I will pass then. Don't want something that will need to be repainted. Appreciate the offer though.

Okay. If in decent shape, I may definitely take it. These fans are known to have at least one wrinkled blade, right by the rivets too. Not sure why many of them ended up this way.

I have a brass caged version with the paint missing around the base so I am probably just better off restoring the one I have instead of buying another.

Thank you for the pictures though! Also, thank your wife for me, what a fine lady.

George,

Yes, looks like a good deal to me, just let me know the total $s and I'll PP the money to you.  I think I can do a gift to friend thing with PP so you don't get gouged, or just add the PP cost into the total.  Don't beat them down so hard that they'll hate you and never sell you another fan!  Thanks George.  And thanks to your wife too!  You oughta get her something nice while you're dealing on the fan, she's a nice lady.

Jim
