So excited to make a meet only a few hours from my house!  Carl Parker and me will be bringing some tools, fans, and intuition.  Anyone looking for anything in particular?  Carl has a bunch of fans in his shop and I have a few that were banned from the house
Everyone let the Kurtt's know you're coming?  Rumer is that there will be a keg...  Me and the few others I see may not drink that much in 2 days...  lol!

I'll bring some cash for brass cage emersons (unrestored), if anyone has something they've had on the shelf and wondering what to do with. I'll make sure it has a good home!

Hope to see as many of you fine folks there as possible.

Love this group, and the old industrial equipment of the past that brings us together!
Oh crap!  I posted in the wrong part of the forum too...

Hey Lucas,  My wife (Terry Lynn) and I will be there on both Friday and Saturday.  We live in Arlington so it's not too far for us (2 hours depending on Dallas traffic).  I will bring about 15+ plus fans for sale.  I've got 7 already priced and packed.  I will have some nice early Emerson's for sale, will post some photo's of them all packed up ready to be loaded on my truck.  Will be nice to meet you and some of the other fan members I haven't had a chance to meet.  Terry McPherson

Strange Request - anyone that is coming and has one of these they don't want anymore - bring it along and we'll work something out.

All you need is the truck that goes along with it? See you all up there Friday, looking forward to it.

No the machine shop had the contract for the tail gate rods
The long rod that goes through is threaded on both ends and then went to the mill and the threaded area  got a flat milled on them.
been a long time ago .

Can't wait! I'll be bringing an Emerson 11666, one or two silver swans, a Knapp World's Fair fan, a Polar Cub with it's original Box, a Delco with it's original box, a Knapp car fan with it's original box, a few early motors and a bulb heater all of which will be for sale.

Terry Lynn and I attended both days and had a wonderful time.  Brian & Denise are the most gracious hosts and we all very much appreciated their fine Texas hospitality on their first AFCA meet.

I would like to add my THANKS to Brian and Denise for an outstanding Fan Meet - Weather was perfect, BBQ Pulled Pork with all the trimmings for lunch, Denise made some very tasty Scones for everyone to enjoy - all in all a great gathering. Thanks again Brian and Denise!!

...........and there should be a law against someone having this many Emerson Pedestal Fans, stored out of reach and not for sale. There wasn't even a "I don't want to sell it price on these"!!!

No Jon I haven't been but would love to at some point. It would be nice to see all the Emersons in person.
