Powerstat shipping disaster.... Only need the bakelite piece. Don't need flange ring or the retainer ring. Seller thunk it was a good idea to pack the Powerstat plugged into itself...  Guess what happened.  Newton's first law of motion (aka the law of inertia) definitely reigned. An old Czech truism was also validated. The socket did have a bakelite flange and was held in place with a retainer ring on the back side. The stock picture below shows one a bit more intact. Notice the chipped flange at the 5:00 position. Mine has no flange. The socket was pushed clean thru into the enclosure. Flange,... nothing but crumbs.  |
