Antique fan parts probably has all the right ones you need. PM him and let him know exactly what you want.

If they’re not weird threads, McMaster Carr has them. Your local big box hardware chain has them in the hardware department.

Ace had a few newer style acorn nuts, but not the antique style I need for my Westinghouse.  Thanks

Darryl Hudson can make any nut, acorn, bolt you would desire. Plus has a lot of other stuff. He has his own website.

PM Chad Baker at Antique fan parts. Tell him exactly what you want. He most likely has original acorn nuts. Yes they cost a bit more but they are original and the exact ones you need.

Brand new parts on original fans can look odd, unless aged a bit

What kind of Westinghouse nuts do you need? If you need brass slotted Westinghouse acorn nuts with 6-32 threads, I have a few.

It looks like they are 3/8" long.  The "Slot" in them has been widened some much they look more like holes than slots.  And the brass finish is gone.  I thought about painting them brass colored but I don't know how that would look. :wondering:    Four of them is what I am hoping for.  Thanks, Dan

The brass "color" is just brass that is polished, the bright brass color will come back if you polish it. The buggered up slot, is another story.

If you have a thread gauge you can measure the thread size of the stud that the acorn nut screws onto. If you don't have a thread gauge, take your acorn nuts to a hardware store like Ace and try to screw your acorn nut onto a 6-32 screw, and an 8-32 screw. If your acorn nut fits nicely onto the 6-32 screw, I have the right size acorn nuts. If it fits the 8-32 screw, you will need to search for 8-32 acorn nuts.

Also, my acorn nuts will be tarnished brass like the ones you already have. They will need polishing if you like them that way.

The brass is all gone I believe. When I polish them they just become metal.  No brass color at all.

Lowe’s, Home Depot. They have boxes above the bins. Each box is partitioned. The hardware stores have them too.
