Hi Everyone!

These Louis Luu 2-wing pointers are now available! They are beautiful! The craftsmanship on these are as good as anything you will get ANYWHERE! Bronze and steel was the material used... The bronze pointers are several times stronger than the originals... These will buff up and look perfect on your kidney! The steel pointers are even stronger and these will buff up like stainless steel
Bronze pointers are $20ea. + free shipping!
Steel pointers are $40ea. + free shipping!
Geoff, Steve Chew, Lane shirey your pointers will be mailed tomorrow with tracking...
I had 40 double wing bronze pointers and only 20 are left!
I have 6 steel double pointers left...
If you need pointers you will need to act fast!

Just food for thought for anyone undecided you can get a complete box with a pointer from Louis Luu cheaper than (You know who) on ebay is selling just a lid with a pointer that are real crappy castings as well.

What you get on ebay for $265 plus shipping!!

Good ol' Todd Thrasher. He and I had a run in at an auction a few years back. Definitely not a gentleman.

Got some double pointers in the mail last night. They are sweet and , actually fit well with a minimum of on the original selector shaft. . Louis , U R  raising the bar on castings and helping turn those broke down kidney oscillators into great daily runners again.

I will be mounting an unbroken gearbox and adding some additional filler to the mounting area to ensure a good fit.  Note the gap of the original mounting.  I will also be making the outside wall a tad bit thicker the the outside...sturdier without compromising the look and feel of the original gearbox and lid.  The on/off switch will not be affected.

If you make the wall thicker will that change the oiler hole position on the lid? It might move it back making it harder to screw in the oiler through the lid?

Nope...just to the sides...No changes to the inside just the outside.  The original casting has uneven thickness to the wall.

This is what I still need to do with the Kidney gearbox.  I will not happy with the gap left over from the original casting.  The outside wall will also be thicken just a tad bit...neater.  The original had uneven thickness.

I'm no interior decorator...but...never mind. There is no convincing people that avocado green is just...belongs on avocado...not on walls.

Cheer up George....there is a reason I won't allow you to come over to my house....my other half has the same taste as you. Her room is painted in this gaw-awful color...lime green/avocado green and bright funky flamingo orange. I'm afraid to take picture of it...my camera will probably crack. I would probably harassed and be called names of all sorts.

With bright colors you dont need as much light to see your fans all the better!

Louis, That is so funny. My ex painted her bathroom in "Cheery" red. When you looked down the hall, it looked like the house was on fire!
As soon as we got divorced, I painted that bathroom white....the next day!
Cheers,
Bill

They are doing take out last I checked. Good food and not too expensive. I'll have to stop back in whenever LA county does dine in again. I sure miss going to the Rose Bowl.
