Friends: In a previous post I was corrected (thank you) regarding my description of a fan and also regarding the cage and the struts. An AFCA member offered to buy the incorrect struts (they were from a GE kidney fan) and the cage. Then last night while I was hunting through my inventory, I found the correct struts for this fan. I completely forgot that I had them and really, I couldn't tell you where and when I obtained them. In any event, they are the correct struts for this BMY. I am seeking a cage now. Please PM me if you have a 12 inch BMY cage and I will happily pay for it so I can complete this project. Thanks for your consideration.![]() ![]()

Beautiful fan with correct struts. Antiquefanparts.com has the cage.

Hi Carlton. That was the first place I looked and after going through 16 pages, I didn't see one. Can you provide a link? In any event, I messaged Chad and Linda. In the meantime, I wonder if any of our good friends might have one? I wouldn't think that a BMY cage would be all that rare as it is a common fan (IMO). If the cage you sold was 12" isn't that the same as a BMY? I thought Kidney and BMY drop ring cages where the same?

Yes, Don but it wasn't a kidney cage even though the kidney struts were there. Strange conglomeration of fan parts. The cage looked like a cage from a GE oscillator. It certainly wasn't the right cage.
