Here is a real oddball. The label on the top says it is a reversible window fan. It is not reversible nor is it a window fan. It does have 3 speeds but no reverse Attached Image (viewed 175 times):

You could always just turn it around in the window...? Maybe it was meant to be placed in front of a window and not in it.

I've got the 12" version of that fan, I think it was one I actually got from you at Fandango a few years ago, and mine I think is a little older than yours as mine doesn't have the "safety grille" on it and the "reversable" thing I think is just referring to the fact that its manually reversable (you physically flip the fan around in the window rather than flipping a switch). But I'm not sure, mine has a sticker on it as well but its very hard to read.

THERE MIGHT HAVE BEEN A HANGER BAR OR BRACKET THAT ALLOWED YOU TO TURN IT AROUND MANUALY AS TO CHANGE AIR FLOW DIRECTION... I HAVE NEVER SEEN THAT FAN WITH THE LABEL AND HAVE SEEN A ZILLION OF THEM S MAYBE THIS FAN CAME WITH A "KIT" FOR MOUNTING IF YOU HAVE EVER SEEN A MID 50S' FRESHNDAIRE BOX OR ROLLABOUT MADE BY CHELSEA, THEY SAY "AUTOMATIC" ON THEM AND CLEARLY HAVE NO TIMER OR THERMOSTAT JUST A SPEED SWITCH, SO MAYBE THOSE CAME WITH A SEPERATE PLUG IN TIMER AS A "KIT" TOO...WHO KNOWS.
