Rarer that 1900-1908 Pancakes and more pricey. Approximately only 1750 made.

If it runs it should be worth at least $1500, probably more. They are the earliest and most desirable in my view.

Man I hope not! Stephen has the worst luck shipping I have ever seen! Seems like the shippers are TRYING to break stuff. I had an original Lolipop damaged last year, and it was packed very well. I have a Tesla coming from the same seller any day now, I have my fingers crossed!

Even "You Guys" have sent me damaged goods - - I have a PI-241 that is coming to Hickory Via Atlanta, and several more I am picking up in KY & West VA this April. A 1901 Pancake I sent arrived with a busted switch (see WANTED BST) & that with $1000 in Insurance!!

Hi Geoff, That used to belong to Stefan Osdene. The picture was taken in the basement of their defunct appliance museum here in Virginia. RIP I've held and seen in person two 1320's Last edited on Tue Mar 23rd, 2021 04:15 pm by Mike Petree |

Do we keep any records of (known) surviving Emerson fans from that early (Pre-1910) period? Pancake serial numbers have been collected for years. The PI 241 will be my earliest Emerson (1900-1901?)

The 1320 may be a 4 pole motor despite the 6 wing blade. Electrical trade rates the motor at 90 watts on high speed. The 1310 is clearly described as a 6 pole motor. Both 12" and 16" 6 wing fan motors were introduced in 03.![]() ![]() Last edited on Wed Mar 24th, 2021 05:06 am by Russ Huber |

Notice the wattage on Rich Becher's 16" 1320 in the gallery. It is far less than the 03 electrical trade mentions, and less than the 12" 1310 on this post. ???......Rich's 1320 must be a 6 pole motor at that wattage. ![]() ![]() Last edited on Wed Mar 24th, 2021 05:43 am by Russ Huber |

Bill Hoehn wrote: Hi Russ, It appears so far all known 16" 1320 models have 6 pole motors based on the motor wattage listed on the tags. Emerson 03 electrical trade description for the 1320 in this case appears to be misleading. GE marketed a 6 pole residence desk fan motor in 99. Anyone aware of another 6 pole AC desk fan prior to 99?

James, It appears from several past posts that Russ has made over the years, of the Meston patent drawings, that they are 6 pole. Russ will probably clarify it for us.

I’m guessing +/- $2000.. The blades look like they have a some wrinkles.. restored to perfection $3000..But at $3000+ you’re starting to get into victor lollipop land.. I guess I wouldn’t hesitate at paying $1500 ..it is a real beauty..
