Need some Help with Lasko Oscillating Box Fan

I everybody, last night I found a really nice Lasko oscillating Box fan on the curb. I plugged it in and it moves a lot of air I'm very impressed it's nothing like the new Box fans of today. The oscillator works great it does need to be taken apart and cleaned. It does have 2 problems I wanted to see if you guys can help me out. 1st there is rubber bushings that support the back grate and the motor, they're broken off is there somewhere I can pick these up? Also when I switched it from high to off quickly it tripped out the GFCI outlet it was plugged into does that mean the switch is going bad?

Can't help U with the electrical problem but those are great box fans. I got a couple of them & amazed at how well they were built in the day... Super curbside salvage ! :up:

IF YOUR RUBBER REAR MOUNTS ARE STILL COMPLETE, YOU CAN DRILL THROUGH THEM AND PUT IN A BOLT WASHER AND NUT ARRANGEMENT FROM FRONT TO BACK ...A PAIN BUT THE PRESSED IN ATTACHMENT FAILS AS THE RUBBER (SOME WERE PLASTIC) CHANGES WITH TIME .YOUR SWITCH MIGHT BE GOING JUST CHECK THE WIRES GOING IN THE SWTCH AND MAKE SURE THE CONNECTIONS ARENT MOVING WHEN YOU TURN THE SWITCH OR HAS ANY OF THE BAKELITE HOUSING CRACKING OFF?

When I take it apart I'll check the switch, I didn't even think about it possibly cracking internally.
The original rubber mounts have studs kind of attached on either side, the threads don't go straight through. I assume this is to minimize vibration. Wouldn't going straight through transmit a lot of the vibration back into the housing?
