I was visiting one of my favorite haunts where I always find something interesting. The lady running the place said “hey, I’ve got an old fan for you!” It runs fantastic, and is one of the heaviest, if not THE heaviest box fan I’ve ever owned. I know nothing about it besides the tag on the front of the cage. It’s quite rusty in the bottom, so any paper tags are long gone that could help identify it. I would just like a little more information about it if possible. The pictures aren’t great, but hopefully will give you an idea what it looks like. Thanks in advance!

It appears to be a Hunter or Lakewood box fan from the early 1960s.

hey guys that is not a lakewood. the blade looks like a mirror to my 50s rollabout dayton 2 speed. The blade is similar in appearance to the early 1960, late 1950 laskos but that cutout on the lower portion says dayton. the lakewood blades came in 4 rivet or three rivet and really never changed from late 50s into the 2000's when the company went all pastic. that is a nice find the grille label is likely a brand made for a store...
