where can I find a view of the GE fan showing the order of the rotor assembly washers and spacers, mine moves forward and back. I think I maybe missing some washers/spacers.

There may not be diagrams available.  The idea of fiber washers/spacers is to center up the rotor laminations
to the stator laminations.  Put washers on the back end  of the rotor to do this.  Eyeball the rotor placement by
looking through the back vent holes and compare with the front.  Most efficient magnetic transfer occurs when
rotor is centered.  Add washers to the front of rotor shaft to give about 1/16" front to back play when putting
front bell cover back on.  Keep in mind that fan blade running pushes the rotor towards the back of the motor
from air pressure.

Thanks, how big thick are the fiber washers/spacers? figure I can pick them up at hardware store. mike

I get the red fiber washers.  They are about 1/32" thick.  I don't know what size you need.  They used to have kitsof them in SAE fractional dimensions.  I can't find anything but metric from Chi Nah any more.
McMaster Carr still has them, but not in a kit.  Maybe someone like Daryl Hudson could sell you just what you need.
