Pictures of the front of the motor housing (front bearing holder) and also of the underside of the oscillator bell are needed in order to give a precise date.

In this case the oscillator bell pictures you posted are enough to date it. Your fan is from 1940-41. In 1940, GE switched from an oscillator bell with one setting to a bell with three oscillation sweep settings like yours.
